Big Words
Sometimes, people will use big words in an attempt to appear intelligent when, in reality, they’re definitely not so. Take this attorney, for example – they used the phrase “myasthenia gravis,” which is just a scientific way of saying “muscle weakness.” It didn’t help them appear smart after they asked that stupid question!

However, this attorney is not alone in doing this. According to studies, around 58% of people have confessed to using big words to make people think they’re more intelligent, despite the fact they have no idea what the word actually meant. I think this lawyer may certainly have been one of them!
