If anything has dramatically improved with technology over the decades, it’s the effects in movies. From explosions to bloody scenes, technology has made these moments as realistic as it gets. Although, some might argue other inconsistencies have nothing to do with technology.
One commenter made a great point about the Fast and Furious movie franchise. For as much as they drive, race, and make long-distance treks, they never show a single stop for gas. How did they make it without ever needing fuel? Come on, at least try to make it seem realistic.
