If you have a house, or an apartment, or even a room that belongs to you, then you have to clean. It’s the task that just keeps on coming, with an endless list of things to vacuum, wash, scrub, and dry. If you live alone, then you at least only have yourself to blame for the mess. If you’re a parent, then you can watch your lovely little mess-makers run around undoing all your good work all day! Thankfully, engineers have blessed us with their many labor-saving devices. We have vacuums and washer-dryers and they save us time, surely? Well, they do when they work. As we’ll see, this is not always the case. Prepare yourself for the revenge of the machines…
Washing the snacks
Germ-free food is obviously an important consideration in the cooking process. You want to make sure that your greens are free of tiny bugs that all the soil has been washed from your veggies and that there scrub off any chemicals left on your fruits.
I would advise against, however, going as far as this person has in their quest for clean food. As much as germs are bad, washing powder-soaked breadsticks are definitely not part of a balanced diet. They’re not good for your machine, either. I sense an engineer call-out in this guy’s future.
