This commercial shows a woman walking into a Chinese-owned laundromat. The male owner says the laundry is so fresh due to an ancient Chinese secret. But it was because of Calgon laundry detergent. A little dated? Sure, but it was funny and memorable. This commercial was quoted often and included in Wayne’s World. Regardless of our race, we would say that something was an ancient Chinese secret when we didn’t want to explain it.
