The Electric Company was a TV show that aired from 1971 to 1977. It was from the Children’s Television Workshop and intended to be Sesame Street but for bigger kids. As such, the humor was more mature, and it wasn’t afraid to get trippy with its 1970s visuals. Some of the stuff may make you ask, “What were they smoking?”
