To be fair, Goodyear Auto Service is not in a position like the vast majority of the other chains listed here. It hasn’t gone bankrupt or closed down. Rather, there are still over 1200 Goodyear auto shops around the country, and it is operated by one of the largest tire brands in the world. That said, the company is in a lot of debt and appears to be in the midst of a restructuring to avoid financial ruin.
