#20: Dressbarn
Another casualty of fast fashion, Dressbarn couldn’t compete with the nonstop trend changes. The women’s clothing store shuttered all 650 of its physical locations in 2019, pivoting to an online-only model. The company’s parent group ended up filing for bankruptcy the following year. REV, which owns Radio Shack, Pier 1 and Stein Mart, bought Dressbarn and now operates its online shopping experience.
