Prior to shuttering all of its brick-and-mortar locations in 2020, it had 279 stores in the U.S. Yet a competitive retail environment and COVID-19 pandemic sales losses made the company unsustainable in physical spaces. After filing for bankruptcy in 2020, the company was bought out by REV, which also owns stores like Radio Shack and is now online-only.
