Michael J. Fox as Stuart Little
Michael J. Fox is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, author, and film producer perhaps most well-known for his role in the Back to the Future trilogy where he starred as Marty McFly. Fox is also recognized for his role in the television series Spin City (1996–2000) and in the classic sitcom Family Ties. In 1999, Fox starred as the voice of Stuart Little in the movie based on the classic story by E.B. White, which grossed over $300 million. Fun fact- Rob Minkoff, who directed the film, also directed the classics The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
Fighting for a cure
Michael J. Fox has won five Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, a Grammy Award, and, just to top it off, two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 1991, at the age of 29, he was diagnosed with Parkison’s disease. Since partially retiring from acting in 2000 due to symptoms of his disease, Fox has become an advocate for Parkison’s research and the quest for a cure.
