December 1, 2020 by Emma Cooper

Stress is devastating for anyone, especially when you deal with it for too long. Stress can lead to major health issues such as heart attacks, compromised immunity, mental health issues, fatigue, and much more. But when you’re dealing with a great deal of worry or a lot at once it’s hard to keep the stress away, so how can you do this?

Well, some celebrities have spoken out on this struggle and how they keep away stress. And coming from people that have constant attention and probably a bunch to handle or think about, these tips should hopefully be helpful for anyone. Here are some celebrity tips for coping with stress to help you out.

Do Something You Love

Angelina Jolie spoke up about dealing with her own stress and tough times in saying that she finds time to meditate or spend time with her kids when the stress gets to her. She mentions how important it is to do something that you love and that makes you happy to be able to offset that feeling you have and find your way towards happiness or peace. Exercising is a great way to keep yourself healthy physically as well as to let out emotions and frustrations or divert your focus to more useful activities. Music

Multiple celebrities such as the Jenners and Christina Ricci have spoken up about how much music can help them cope with their feelings of stress in hard times. Whether you just listen to music you like, use it as a way to get active, dance-along, play it in the background, or any other form of listening and engaging in the sound; you can find some good relief and positive redirection when you listen to some music for coping with stress.

Scream

Sometimes the best help for your pent up feelings and stress can just be to let it out in some way. Screaming can be a good release of anger, upset, and overwhelmed feelings for many people. Madonna has told reporters when asked about coping with stress that she quite often screams, and other individuals and celebrities have talked about the release of making some noise can be for their stress. Just make sure you pick a time or place, it makes it less awkward.

With the holidays, wintertime, and more already here or just around the corner we all find ourselves pretty overwhelmed. These tips from some celebs that have a lot on their shoulders can help you to find some ideas or additions to your stress coping mechanisms. Building coping habits or mechanisms for major stress can help you to have a plan in place for when you feel these feelings as well as help to more quickly get yourself back on track in times of need or when you’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount of stress on your shoulders.
