Perhaps some of the funniest social media blunders involve knee-jerk reactions when the post consists of the user wildly going off on some perceived injustice. Of course, the post is even funnier when the person has the information completely wrong and doesn’t even need to be ranting in the first place. This Adam Levine post is the best of all because he quickly addressed his error.
After criticizing MTV for overlooking a great music video, Adam realized he had vented in error. MTV had, in fact, nominated the music video for several awards. We love that he immediately owned up to his mistake. However, the funniest part of his tweet is that he still unabashedly stands by his hatred for MTV, even though they didn’t do anything wrong this time.
