The famous chef and restaurateur knows a lot about food, as his successful career indicates, but as it turns out, he also knows something about parenting, and perhaps we can learn from him a thing or two. As you can expect from a chef, one of the things he’s most strict about in his house is a healthy diet; junk food is probably the biggest no-no in the Oliver household, and although his kids resent it at times (we all have our guilty pleasures when it comes to food), they secretly appreciate it.
The renowned chef and his wife Jules have five children between the ages fifteen and 12 months, and while juggling the different diets of the different ages is a challenge, if anyone is up for the task, it’s a professional chef. Other than the healthy diet and no junk food policy, another thing he won’t compromise is his children’s screen time: the celebrity chef believes that screen time should be limited to a minimum, and he doesn’t care if this approach makes him the bad cop around the house, a role he proudly takes on.
