You might not know this, but singer Christina Aguilera hasn’t been on tour since before her twelve-years old son was born. She admitted to something most parents feel, but few admit – that she’s having a hard time balancing her busy career and her role as a mother, and ultimately, her successful career as a singer and a judge on The Voice was somewhat shunned to the side. This was a choice she made in order to be the best mother she could to her two children.
Although we remember her from her days as a sensational, controversial singer and performer, in the past decade Aguilera has taken on a new role, which she takes with the utmost seriousness. Perhaps part of the reason why the singer didn’t go on tours since the birth of her first child is that growing up, her father served in the U.S. Military and therefore traveled with the family often. One thing she cares about most in her children’s upbringing is their diet, which is relatively free and allowing, but at the same time, according to her, teaching them about healthy eating.
