These Celebrities Are Known for Their Strict Parenting Methods

March 18, 2017 by Kelly Davies

35. Kelly Ripa

The American actress and T.V. host isn’t just a mother on T.V, but in real life – which is a much greater challenge. While on our screens she’s a bubbly, smiley personality, at home, according to her, she must put on the bad cop face if she wants to raise wise, independent and kind children (and she does). Around Hollywood, Ripa is known as a strict parent, but her methods work, if you ask her.

If you ask us, we can’t say why Ripa has received the reputation of being a stricter mom than necessary, since her methods aren’t different from what we’ve seen on the list so far: limiting T.V. and phone time, regulating study time and limiting candy consumption seem. While some parents want to have a friendship with their little ones (along with the parent-child relationship, not necessarily instead of), the talk-show host once declared that, for their own good, she is strictly their mother, and not their friend.
