Actress Brooke Shields feels like the odd mom out in the Hollywood environment, but she has no regrets regarding her motherhood. The actress has to daughters, Rowan and Grier, and the family lives in Manhattan, New York. You’re already familiar with the term helicopter mom by now, and Shields, though she’s probably not familiar with the term, admits she can be an overbearing, controlling mothers.
While her daughters are now teenagers, when they were younger, and they would fight with other children, the actress says she’d always tell them to let go and take the high road – and while we appreciate the value behind this approach, it might be hard for children to understand. Now that her daughters are grown up she has somewhat released the rope, but Shields still takes responsibility for her daughters, because according to her, that’s a mother’s job.
