Cat-Vador Dali
I first learned about Salvador Dali when I was watching the Netflix series, La Casa de Papel (Money Heist). His face was used as a mask worn by the group of thieves led by the mastermind, the Professor. They used Dali as a symbolism for their want for equal distribution of wealth which was aligned with Dali’s art that rejecting capitalism.
He may not be with us physically anymore, but Dali’s works live on and his animal doppelganger. This cat may not be a thief in a series, but it definitely grabbed my attention. Not only with the round eyes, but look at the white streak underneath, it even matches with Dali’s mustache.
