It seems like many people are willing to die on this hill that The Notebook is a problematic movie, but this person hasn’t offered an explanation. So, I’m just going to have to assume that your problems are with Ryan Gosling’s character gaslighting a young girl until she’s willing to elope with him. That’s all well and good but you seem to be forgetting one thing: It’s Ryan Gosling.
