#2: Lousy Parenting
With respect to the filmmakers, I don’t think they were setting out to create a film about good parenting decisions. I’m pretty sure the positive note of the story is meant to come from the bond between the siblings and the good it leads to. But if someone is watching it looking for parenting advice, they could be mistaken into thinking they should adopt this terrible plan.
