Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s experience in the army may pale in comparison to most of his Hollywood peers, but it’s still worth mentioning. He joined the Austrian army not long before becoming a professional weightlifter who would go on to become a millionaire actor and the governor of California.
But like many people, Arnold was forced to put on a soldier’s outfit. The Austrian government made it compulsory for all 18-year-old to enlist. Despite being a conscripted soldier, his brief time in the army taught him the importance of discipline and hard work—two traits that he would use to become the superstar he is today.
