Fred Durst
If you listened to music back in the mid-90s to early 2000s, then you’ll know who Fred Durst is. He popularized the chant “Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’” after his band, Limp Bizkit, released the hit single in 2000. While he has pretty much disappeared from the spotlight, Fred and his crew continue to do tours to this very day.
But before he became the tattooed rap rockstar, he was an honorable serviceman. His decision to join the army came when he couldn’t find any work after graduating high school. He spent two years in the Navy before becoming a tattooist and eventually starting his band in 1995.
