Chuck Norris
Here is a man that needs no introduction. Chuck Norris served in the US military long before he was delivering roundhouse kicks to his silver-screen foes. In fact, it was during his stint in the US Air Force that he developed a passion for self-defense. Despite serving for only four years from 1958 to 1962, he had earned multiple black belts that would become the basis for his acting career.

After his time in the Air Force, he took his talents to the dojo, where he would learn Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo. He would master both martial arts, but he would eventually be crowned a karate champion.
