Sammy Davis Jr.
Sammy Davis Jr. had an infectious personality. People knew from the moment they met the man that he would go on to do incredible things, whether it was in sports, education, or entertainment. Sammy was drafted during WWII, but his superiors thought he could serve his country better if he focused on entertaining the troops.
During his time in the army, he learned to hone his comedic skills, which would help him immensely when he returned back to the States. Sammy earned a position in the Rat Pack, which was led by the legendary Frank Sinatra.
