Pat Sajak

Pat Sajak worked as a DJ for the military radio station before becoming the host of the successful TV show Wheel of Fortune. It wasn’t the active-duty experience he had hoped for since he had secretly prayed to see action on the battlefield, which made him unsatisfied with his line of work at times.

It was far too mundane for Pat. He once said that he felt sorry about how comparatively light his duties were compared to his comrades. Pat would sit in a hotel all day and have everything served to him on a silver platter. However, he took solace in the fact that many of the active soldiers were relieved to hear that everything was going well back at home via his radio station.
