Charlton Heston
Charlton Heston established a name for himself in Hollywood by appearing in over 100 movies throughout the span of a six-decade career. He portrayed Moses in The Ten Commandments, which explains his refined demeanor and desire to help others. In 1942, he joined the army air force and became a radio operator.

He was posted to an Alaskan island as an aerial gunner aboard a B-25 Mitchell, but he never saw battle. This was a huge disappointment for him since he had hoped to join in on the action. Lucky for him, he made it back safely and started what would become one of the most celebrated careers in Hollywood history.
