Rob Riggie
Back in the day, Rob Riggie hoped to pursue a military career. His long-term ambition was to fly warplanes, so he enlisted in the Navy in 1990 with the purpose of obtaining a pilot’s license to get started. However, he had another passion that he couldn’t give up.
He was a fan of acting and dabbled in it during his downtime. Struggling to juggle flying planes and acting, he eventually had to choose between his two major ambitions. When his acting career took him to new heights that he’d never achieved as a soon-to-be pilot, he knew that he had to leave the military. Despite this, he joined the US Marine Corps Reserve and did a tour in Iraq in 2007, where he would entertain troops to boost morale.
