Are You Seeing This?
People will put up statues of ravens to ward off crows and other animals that have a deep fear of these flying omens of death. Then there’s the OP’s neighbor’s cat, who can’t seem to stop staring at the statue. Curiosity usually kills the cat, but not this time because, well, the raven is fake.

The raven isn’t going to go anywhere, kitty. It’s a statue—it’s made to just stay in one place and keep other birds from flying into the OP’s windows. Sure, it might not register in your mind, but it totally makes sense from a human’s perspective.
