How Does This Even Happen?
In a previous post, we saw a mechanic pull out a pair of rusty pliers from their client’s tire. This is sort of like that but a tad more alarming. Somehow, a blunt metal rod had managed to pierce the thick tire, leaving a huge hole that would require replacing the tire entirely.
How this thing managed to get stuck in the tire is beyond us. And is it luck that the rod pierced the tire and not flung out of the side to damage anything or anyone else? Guys, the next time you drive around metal objects, please be more cautious.
