As kids and teenagers, we wanted nothing more than never to eat school cafeteria food again. As adults, we want to go back and have a tray full of whatever was on the menu that day, even though not every dish was that great. We’re here today to look at 20 nostalgic cafeteria meals that many kids ate, whether they were good or bad. #1: Be There or Be Square
Every school served square pizza. I don’t think public education had the funding to make them triangle-shaped. Sometimes, they’d come with tiny pepperoni squares as well. Where I lived, they always paired the pizza with corn. Have you or anyone else ever had corn with your pizza? Have you ever been to a get-together, someone brought pizza, and someone said, “That’s great, but you forgot the corn!” Of course not! It’s just one of those oddities you’d only find in a school lunch.
