#6: Gator McKlusky — Gator (1976)

In Gator, Reynolds returns to the character who helped define his early action persona. Now working with law enforcement, Gator reluctantly enters dangerous territory to confront corrupt politicians. Reynolds portrays him with the same fearless confidence that defined the earlier film. His driving skills and quick reflexes remain central to the action. The character’s physical authority allows him to dominate confrontations. Reynolds also directed this film, adding personal investment to the role. Gator’s swagger and courage reinforce his reputation as a Southern folk hero.
