The Cucumber Fence Man
This restaurant has a pretty unique concept. The restaurant sold stir-fry noodles or rice, whichever type of carb you wanted. For the toppings (is that the right word?), they would throw in whatever ingredient you could fit into a single bowl. If you took a second bowl, you had to pay extra.
This guy used cucumber slices to create somewhat of a fence to increase how much meat and fillings (that’s the word!) he could fit into a single bowl. When it was his turn to make a stir-fry concoction, he told the chef to toss the cucumber slices out. What a waste of cucumber but an ingenious plan to get more fillings in your stir-fry!
