The Best Part
We’ll be the first people to announce publicly that the fat and gristle of steaks aren’t inedible. In fact, they’re close to being the best parts of the steak. Of course, if you don’t feel that way, we’re not going to force our fat-and-gristle agenda down your throat. Just thought we’d start by saying that.
But we also want to add that in no circumstances is asking for the fat and gristle from a stranger a good thing. You can admire their trimmings from afar, but that’s the extent of it. Also, if you’re at a buffet, you can go back for seconds and eat more fat!
