There are some combinations that just work like magic. Cripsy and golden deep-fried breaded chicken topped with white béchamel sauce and melted cheddar cheese is one such combination. The best part is that it’s served with chips and garlic sauce. Seriously, does it get any better than this? 

Known as Parmo or Teesside Parmesan, this dish is a cult delicacy that originated in North Yorkshire and was apparently brought to the area by an American serviceman who stayed there after WWII. It is usually made with chicken but you may even come across a pork version. It truly sounds like the ideal post-night-out snack. Yum!
