#52: McDonald’s Walk-Thru
We’re all familiar with the McDonald’s drive-thru, and we love them. It allows you to get food on the go without having to leave the car. It’s a very popular invention in the U.S., where most people use their car to get anywhere, but what about cities around the world where they don’t rely on vehicles as much?

This person’s city has a McDonald’s walk-thru. You don’t have to go inside the restaurant to order your food; you can go through the window and get your takeaway, much like a drive-thru works, only without a car. Okay, so we don’t really see how this is different than just walking into the restaurant, but it’s a cute gimmick.
