The Sharper Image was founded in 1977 as a store that sold lifestyle products, and their products are still around. But their brick-and-mortar locations are definitely not. There were a few reasons for this; the products were often overpriced, and there was also a class-action lawsuit over their Iconic Breeze air purifiers, which were ineffective, but cost money and damaged their reputation.

In 2008, The Sharper Image closed its stores. A year before, former (and future) President Donald Trump sold Trump Steaks at the Sharper Image. I’m not trying to make this article political, but I just wonder who is going to the Sharper Image to buy steaks?
