#11: Oldsmobile
Oldsmobile was founded in 1897 by Ransom E. Olds and dominated the 20th century thanks to its production by General Motors, particularly in the ‘80s. You probably knew somebody who had a Delta 88, and they were pretty cozy cars.

But the ‘90s left the brand in the dust, with over half its sales cut. It couldn’t stand out among the competitors in any way. Heck, it has “Old” right in the name! That’s why Oldsmobile went defunct in 2004 with no sign of a comeback 20 years later.
