Photographs
Ever since the invention of modern photography, photographs have been an important part of our lives. While photography remains as important as ever, the physical aspect of it, the photographs, have been largely missing as of late. The use of technology and smartphones have revolutionized the way we take, observe and preserve photographs, and so we don’t really have a use for physical copies of our photos.
Sure, most homes still have a few family photographs on the wall, but that’s about it. Think about your old photo books, when was the last time you actually used it? Added to it? That tells you all you need to know about the dying medium. Companies who used to develop photos like Kodak have been working on new business ventures like digital currencies and edit apps, proving to us once again that there is no future in printed pictures.
