Chef Boyardee
When we were younger, there hasn’t been a week where we haven’t eaten at least one Chef Boyardee dinner. We still remember the evenings where we heated up those little packages and sat in front of the TV together, laughing our way through dinner. A few decades ago, there wasn’t a pantry in the US that didn’t contain at least half a dozen Chef Boyardee meals. Today, most Americans are looking for healthier and fresher meals, ones that don’t necessarily come in a box, go figure.
The company has tried to make steps in the right direction, producing less processed meals with fresher ingredients, but the brand name was too strong and people weren’t buying it. If you ever do come across a Chef Boyardee meal in the supermarket, get one for old times sake.
