It looks like the reign of the ‘King of Beers’ has run it’s natural course. Recently, the popular beer brand has dropped to the #4 position in the top sellers list. The drop can be attributed to the incredible variety that can be found today in any supermarket’s beer aisle, the rise of homemade beer, and the aging of the loyal fans of Budweiser.
Apparently, the brand doesn’t attract as much attention from young consumers as others. In a marker with a variety of alcoholic beverages, the good old Budweiser just doesn’t pack the same punch as it used to. So on your next visit to the store, if you see any Budweiser around, give the old can a tap and a smile.
