If there’s anyone who could claim the award for the loudest proponent of cosmetic surgery, then it was actress and comedian Joan Rivers. She understood that there’s no point in denying rumors of surgery and so was very open about it, mentioning it in her act and in her interviews.
During an appearance on The Today Show, Rivers said “Betty White’s bowels move more than my face. I couldn’t blow out the candles on my birthday cake.” This was when she decided to take a break from Botox for a while. Other surgeries included two facelifts and a nose job.
