Gouda Is Gouda
Here, we have another clueless American trying to convince people that their way of life is better than the rest of the world. In this case, they were referring to Gouda cheese. You know, the melty kind of cheese that goes great with everything? The only real Gouda is what you’ll find in American supermarkets.
Except the American totally didn’t know that Gouda is a city in the Netherlands. Gouda cheese originates from Gouda, hence its name. Also, Gouda cheese is known by another name: Dutch cheese. We’ll stick to using our Frankenstein’s monster of a cheese known as American cheese, thank you.
