She Looked Very Beautiful When She Was Young
Beginning in 1917 when she was only two or three years old and working her way up until her death in 1953, Loretta Young had a lengthy and varied career. Her roles in Come to the Stable and The Farmer’s Daughter were nominated for an Oscar each.

From 1930 to 1931, Young was married to actor Grant Withers but had an extramarital romance with Tracy’s co-star. The child actor started smoking at the age of eight, but she stopped in the 1980s in order to gain 10 pounds.
