She Became Known As A Serious Actor And Was Cast In Increasingly Serious Parts
During the 1960s and 1970s, Jacqueline Bisset, an English actress, appeared in several Hollywood blockbusters, including Bullitt. Since then, she has been recognized as a serious actor and has been given increasingly serious parts, notably in Day for Night by François Truffaut.

To this day, her appearance in 1977’s The Deep, in which she submerged into the sea wearing just a white T-shirt, is credited for popularizing wet T-shirt contests everywhere. She has subsequently mostly appeared in television movies and series.
