#15: Drinking Too Much
Overconsumption of alcohol is a fairly common problem in the United States, with a staggering one in five deaths of 20-49 year olds being attributed to drinking. Reports have shown that Americans, in general, are drinking 60% more hard liquor now than in past decades, as well as more wine. On an individual level, Texas is the state with the highest risk of alcoholism. To be fair, Europeans do drink more alcohol on average than Americans.
