Everyone has their vices. Whether you love to indulge in chocolate when the mood strikes or you’ve got a nervous nail-biting habit, there is always something we can work on. For Americans, as well as a lot of other folks around the world, many of these vices can be summed up in a short-ish list. When it comes to bad habits, there are certain ones that plague Americans in particular. In no particular order, here are 17 of those voracious vices.
#1: Excessive Screen Time
To be fair, Americans have about as bad of a screen time habit as much of the rest of the world. On average, users in the United States spend roughly 7 hours and 3 minutes on Internet-connected devices. Although that is a lot of time, it’s only seven more minutes than the global average. Believe it or not, women are also more likely to spend more time on screens than men. Women have an average video viewership of 23.92 hours per week, while men are at 20.91 hours per week.
