As established earlier, Edward is a problematic character but Bella is no saint either. She’s extremely moody and indifferent and thinks it’s okay to make important life decisions at 17. Who decides that they’ve found the “one” and that they want to give up their mortality and become a vampire at 17?
Bella was even willing to say goodbye to her father if that was what it came down to. She’s as obsessed with Edward as he is with her and that’s just not healthy. She seems to find his stalkerish ways charming and enables him instead of talking some sense into him. She’s also dangerously selfish on many occasions. Maybe they are meant to be.
