Jess Mariano from Gilmore Girls
Jess Mariano was supposed to be the quintessential “bad boy” and considering he was easy on the eyes, it wasn’t hard to see why Rory Gilmore fell for him. That doesn’t take away from the fact that he was a pretty toxic boyfriend and an overall jerk. He was a brat and was extremely disrespectful to his uncle who was letting him stay in his apartment rent-free.
He started to pursue Rory even though he knew she was dating Dean at the time. He was negative about everything and spent all his time complaining instead of trying to make things better. Plus, he tried to pressure Rory into sleeping with him when she clearly wasn’t ready. If that isn’t the definition of jerk, we don’t know what is.
