Ariel from The Little Mermaid
As a kid, you can’t help but be enamored by the story of Ariel in “The Little Mermaid.” It’s only after you grow up that you realize that this character is just a wee bit problematic. She’s extremely entitled, bratty, spoiled, and selfish. She also disrespects her father and treats him like garbage. King Triton’s job is hard enough without having to put up with a rebellious daughter on top of it.

Okay, that’s how teenagers are but there’s more. She ditches her sisters during that huge concert, she falls in love with a stranger and gives up her voice for him, she makes a deal with a sea witch without reading the contract, and she leaves her father’s kingdom for a guy!
