#25: 11-Minute Musical Number
When: 61st Academy Awards, 1989

Rob Lowe found himself alongside a hapless newcomer, Eileen Bowman, decked out as Snow White. Joined by Merv Griffin and a rendition of “Proud Mary” that seemed to drag on for an eternity, eleven whole minutes, to be precise, the audience was left bewildered and begging for mercy.
