Old Seattle #1
Like much of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle was historically native land. The city is named after Chief Seattle, former chief of the Suquamish Tribe.
This totem pole, shot in 1918 and put up by the city’s chamber of commerce had actually been stolen from a Tlingit village in Alaska.
