#5: Why Pay More?

Payless Drug Stores was founded in 1932, and at its peak in the ’70s and ’80s, it was one of the biggest drugstore chains around. So, what happened? Like Pup ‘n’ Taco, it was bought out. This time, Rite Aid bought and rebranded all Payless Drug Stores. And I don’t see too many Rite Aids around nowadays, either. Apparently, there are over 1,200 stores, but where are they? All I see are Walgreens and CVS, and I don’t like them. Bah, bring back Payless.
